You will need to focus on techniques used in 'Written Texts' e.g novels and short stories, poems or articles and 'Visual Texts'. There will be two written texts and one visual texts. The visual text can be an advertisement, any poster (e.g. film ), a web page, a page from a comic book... anything which uses both 'verbal' and 'visual' features.
Here is another list of verbal and visual features which will be useful. Some of these techniques/features/ terms, you will be familiar with from creating static images (posters) in Year 9 & 10. Some others you will learn when we undertake our final internal assessment in a few weeks.
